Conference/Seminar involvements

  • “Life after graduation: where can conservation take you?” Author, UKWCT Seminar Oct 2011

This presentation was given by myself as part of Wolf awareness week to help inspire and answer questions of future conservationists.

This presentation was given at the 2012 wildlife society conference in Oregon. It is a collaboration between Defenders of wildlife, the Idaho Forestry service, Fish and Game services, the US Department of Agriculture and retired Fish and Game wolf expert Carter Niemeyer. The presentation was based on the past 5 years of work on the wood river valley co-existence project.

This presentation discussed the preliminary findings on the continuous investigation myself and Professor Kusak are conducting in Croatia. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the symposium but Professor Kusak was kind enough to present the analysis I have managed to conduct so far. The abstract can be found by following the link, press ctrl and f then search for “haswell” and you will find our abstract. I have uploaded the entire booklet so people can view abstracts of other speakers as I believe the complete programme is no longer available elsewhere.
